This is a villa designed for relaxing and recharging. The owners put a lot of thought and consideration into designing this villa according to ecological principles, making it fit into the landscape and ensuring this would be a place where guests could find themselves re-energised.
They have created a modern, contemporary villa with minimalist interiors in white, taupe and grey, and with a pool set in a large garden, only 7 minutes by car from the historic centre of Cortona.
The 8,000 m² garden has a 16 x 5 m pool surrounded by a relaxation area with a wooden deck and a semi-covered patio. A foot reflexology path runs alongside, and the patio is a good spot for yoga, outdoor meals, or reading. An outdoor lounge area has 8 sunbeds, and there is a barbecue for family meals.
Parking is covered for 2 cars. There is also a storage room and a laundry room. Linen is changed every 7 days. A cot is available on request, and towels and hairdryers are provided in every bathroom.

Accommodation
This 300-sqm property is on two levels, offering a sophisticated design: on the ground floor, there is a big living area with panoramic windows overlooking the outdoors, a spacious eat-in kitchen, two double bedrooms that share a large bathroom with 2 showers. Both bedrooms have french doors that open onto the large terrace.
The ground floor bathroom is divided into three distinct sections: a central area with double sinks, flanked by a shower area on either side, both of which are practically little independent shower rooms, with WCs in each.
From the living areas there is direct access to the outdoor area and a stone reflexology path for barefoot walking. There is a lounge area with 8 sun beds, lounge zone, as well as an outdoor grill where you can prepare meals for family and friends. There is a a storage room and a laundry room.
A third spacious doulbe bedroom area is on the upper floor with its own bath and en-suite bathroom.

Around QI Villa & SPA
The villa sits in the Val di Chiana, the broad fertile valley running between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, and the surrounding area is extraordinarily well-stocked with things to do and see. Cortona is a 10 minute drive to the north; Perugia and Lake Trasimeno a similar distance south. Montepulciano and its exceptional wines are half an hour to the south-west; Pienza, the Renaissance ideal city, is not much further. Further afield, Siena and Arezzo are both within an hour, and Florence is manageable for a day trip.
The landscape is classic southern Tuscany — cypresses, olive groves, vineyards, and the wide skies of the Chiana valley — and the villa is well placed for both exploration and doing absolutely nothing, which is, after all, what a Tuscan summer is for.
